1. An animal species becomes（雖然species是以s結尾，但此處該詞跟在冠次an后，還是單數(shù)，所以謂語become用了單數(shù)） extinct when it fails to produce enough young in each generation to keep pace with the death rate.

3. A number of examples can be given of the way in which（定于從句之所以用in which，是因為in the way表示以某種方式） natural environments are being rapidly changed.

5. Because表示因為是連詞，后面應該接句子；because of 表示因為是介詞短語，后加名詞或代詞。
