　　according to 運(yùn)用最廣泛，由 “根據(jù)某種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)” 轉(zhuǎn)義而來(lái)，注意由“取決于……”或“據(jù)……所說(shuō)”轉(zhuǎn)義的”按照”不能用其他復(fù)合介詞替換。

　　in accordance with 和in conformity with 同義，由 “使符合某種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)” 轉(zhuǎn)義而來(lái)，兩者均較正式。在in compliance with中，compliance 意指“the act of complying to a desire ，

　　demand ，proposal ，etc. ” 因此它是由 “依從……” 轉(zhuǎn)意成“遵照”，口氣較尊敬，常接表示主觀意愿的wishes，request及suggestions，instructions，regulations 等詞，如：Some articles have been omitted in compliance with the wishes of the author. 該句表明編者“依從” 了作者的意愿。

　　in (the) light of 由 “根據(jù)新得到的信息” 轉(zhuǎn)義成 “按照”light指 “有助說(shuō)明問(wèn)題的事實(shí)或發(fā)現(xiàn)” 如：He was condemned in the light of the evidence that the witness gave.“該句表明他被判刑是依據(jù)了證人 (新近) 提供的證據(jù)。”

　　in line with 中l(wèi)ine 意指“way of behavior”，in line with 由“使行為方式符合某種規(guī)定的做法”轉(zhuǎn)義成。“按照” 其后 常接 custom , tradition , policy , contract , rules , ( an earlier)decision 等表示 “規(guī)定了的做法” 的詞，如：In line with the custom of the school, the students had a holiday between Christmas and New Year's Day. ( The holiday follows the usual practice. ) 該句表明學(xué)校放假是因襲了這種慣常做法。

　　as per 是書面語(yǔ)，一般用于商業(yè)函電，語(yǔ)氣比according to更正式，如：Specifications as per Maker's Catalog No. 70. “規(guī)格按生產(chǎn)廠商的第70 號(hào)商品目錄?！?/P>
